The Ask: Created by youth activists, for youth activists. Lonely Whale aimed to publish an impactful magazine, “Oh Wake,” that would engage readers on environmental and ocean conservation.

The Project: As editorial director, curated content that balanced educational insights with creative storytelling. Worked with writers, photographers, and designers to produce articles and visuals that captivated and informed readers.

The Result: “Oh Wake” launched to positive reception, amplifying Lonely Whale’s voice and reinforcing its leadership in environmental advocacy. OH-WAKE is a quarterly Magazine from Ocean Heroes HQ with everything you need to build community, find inspiration, and learn how to apply your skills for a future with clean seas.
